Position Summary

Provide security services to the College of William and Mary Community. Monitor campus buildings and grounds to ensure staff, students, and visitors are safe. Make inspections of designated priority areas on a routine basis. Insure building security through the scheduled locking/unlocking and patrol of campus facilities. Provide escorts and parking enforcement as requested.Provide support in the communications center as a certified dispatcher.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or G.E.D.
Maintain a valid drivers license.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous security experience

Advertised Pay Range Up to $12 per hour; commensurate with experience.

Conditions of Employment:

Person in this position will work under direct supervision.

Routine task will be completed without direct supervision.

Activities will be monitored by the shift supervisor.

The person in this position will seek guidance for all activities that are beyond the normal activities. Position may work nights weekends and holidays.

This position will work 0 to 40 hours per week and is limited to a total of 1500 hours.
