Position Summary

The Program of Asian & Pacific Islander American Studies (APIA) at William & Mary is recruiting a pool of applicants to be considered for possible Adjunct Instructors of Religion and Asian Americans, Politics and Asian Americans, Asian Americans in the American South, Introduction to Asian & Pacific Islander American Studies, Filipino and Diaspora Studies, and Research Methods.

Should and when funding for such adjunct teaching positions become available, selected candidates will be contacted for interviews. The review of applications is ongoing and continuous. In addition, the pool will only be accessed when an opening arise.

Required Qualifications

A Master’s degree is required

Preferred Qualifications

A PhD or ABD is preferred in the relevant area at the time the candidate begins the appointment, August 10 for fall and January 10 for spring start date. Previous academic teaching experience is desirable.
