Position Summary

The Office Support Specialist is a temporary, hourly role that will report to the Assoc Dean, Administration. Primary duties include entering and managing data within Mason School of Business’ Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System and support maintenance of accurate and complete data. This role will provide exceptional internal and external customer service, Complete regular data integrity work,

Required Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

• Experience with PCs, including Microsoft Word and Excel required.
• Demonstrated experience in SalesForce systems required
• Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially telephone and email communication skills.
• Demonstrates ability to maintain confidential nature of all information received

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field.

• Experience working in database programs, including data input, using queries, and ordering reports highly desired.
• Experience in customer service.
CRM implementation experience a plus.
• Knowledge and work experience using Banner in a higher education environment.

Advertised Pay Range $15-$17 an hour, commensurate with experience

Conditions of Employment:

• This position is a temporary (hourly) position not to exceed 6 months. All hourly employees are subject to the limitations of the Virginia Manpower Control Program and total hours worked may not exceed on average 29 hours per week, over the course of a twelve month period beginning May 1 each year.

• This is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position may be subject to overtime during high peak times, etc. as directed and approved by the supervisor.
