Position Summary

The College of William & Mary Counseling Center invites applicants for a full-time staff psychologist position (12 month continuing appointment). This person will serve as part of a multidisciplinary team in providing outpatient mental health treatment to enrolled students. Responsibilities include providing short-term individual psychotherapy, group therapy, crisis intervention services, supervision of doctoral trainees, consultation, and outreach activities.

Required Qualifications

Qualified applicants will have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA accredited program. Applicants should also have completed all internship and national examination requirements for immediate licensure as a psychologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Applicants must also have demonstrated experience in college counseling, excellent clinical skills, successful experience working with full range of human diversity, and a commitment to Student Affairs campus involvement.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to applicants who, in addition to meeting the requirements, provide one or more of the following:
*Expertise in working with adolescents and young adults who identify as genderqueer, sexual/gender minorities, and/or students with intersectional identities
*Experience in psychotherapy group leadership
*Interest in training
