Position Summary

This position provides the primary administrative support for the Department of Mathematics. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
-chair & faculty support, to include administrative personnel services; -department office management
-department fiscal administration; -departmental procurement and purchases; -records management and course scheduling;
-communications and technological support.

Required Qualifications

High School graduate or equivalent. Working knowledge of general office practices and procedures; proficiency in Microsoft Office software; knowledge of procurement and purchasing policies and procedures; a working knowledge of basic accounting principles; working knowledge of fiscal administration; ability to work in Banner; excellent organization skills and attention to detail; ability to interpret and apply organizational policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal guidelines. At least five years of directly related on-the-job experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a higher education environment.

Advertised Pay Range Up to $35,000 Commensurate with Experience.
