Position Summary

The Department of Economics at the College of William and Mary seeks applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level. We are looking for candidates in the field of Macroeconomics, especially open-economy macroeconomics. The teaching expectation is two courses per semester. All candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in both research and undergraduate teaching in a highly selective liberal arts environment.

Initial interviews, only for selected candidates, will be conducted at the January 2018 meetings of the American Economics Association in Philadelphia, PA.

Required Qualifications

Required Qualifications: Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Economics or a related field at the time of appointment (August 10, 2018).

Preferred Qualifications

Independent course design and teaching experience.
