Position Summary

The Department of Classical Studies at the College of William and Mary is recruiting a pool of persons for the Spring 2018 semester for an adjunct teaching position. The teaching load for will be one course, section of a general survey of Roman Civilization. This pool will be accessed when an opening arises and is based on funding. Your credentials will remain active as long as this pool is active. Once the pool closes, if you are still interested, you must reapply to the most current pool.

If you have previously submitted an application for an instructional position at William and Mary via the online system your existing application documents can be easily transferred to this position pool.

Only those selected for an interview will be contacted. The review of application is ongoing.

Required Qualifications

An advanced academic degree (MA preferred) in Classical Studies, Classical Archaeology or a closely related field and subject matter expertise, as evidenced in CV.

Ph.D.; at least 1 year of academic teaching
