Position Summary

This position focuses on supporting students interested in pursuing careers in the Government, Non-profit and International sectors, as well as addressing the specialized needs of our growing international student population. This position directs the student outcomes data collection, assessment and reporting, as well as monitoring the ongoing assessment of the Career Center’s programs and services. The position acts as a liaison to the Reves Center for International Study, the Alumni Association, the Graduate A&S departments, and relevant undergraduate academic departments. This position supervises professional staff, as well as graduate student(s).

Required Qualifications

Knowledge of student development and career development theory and practice; career counseling skills; effective oral and written communication skills; technological proficiency; proven ability to establish rapport with students, faculty, alumni, employers and staff colleagues.
Master’s degree in Students Affairs, higher education, counseling or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience at a level which equates to a Master’s degree, as well as 8 plus years of experience in a college career services office or equivalent professional practice. Experience supervising professional staff, and graduate students. Interest and understanding of assessment, data analysis is a plus
