Position Summary

Accurate, detailed, and confidential data entry for two program units within the Omohundro Institute. Incumbent will provide data entry, develop and run queries for use in communications, accounting, and reporting.

Required Qualifications

• High School graduate or Equivalent.
• demonstrated ability to problem-solve, execute solutions, successfully execute accurate queries across multiple databases;
• demonstrated time management skills and ability to adapt to changing tasks;
• demonstrated ability to prioritize among and work with multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• BA or BS in a related field.
• Experience with Access and/or SQL databases.
• Excellent Excel Skills.
• Experience with non-profit and higher education is preferred.
• Proofreading or auditing experience.

Advertised Pay Range Up to $14 an hour, commensurate with experience

Conditions of Employment:

This position is a temporary (hourly) position not to exceed 6 months. All hourly employees are subject to the limitations of the Virginia Manpower Control Program and total hours worked may not exceed on average 29 hours per week, over the course of a twelve month period beginning May 1 each year.

This is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position may be subject to overtime during high peak times, etc. as directed and approved by the supervisor.
