Position Summary

The Associate Director of Admissions, Undergraduate & One-Year Masters’ Programs reports directly to the Director of Admissions (U&OYM). The Associate Director of Admissions’ primary responsibility will be to assist in the development and processing of the admission funnel for the Undergraduate & One-Year Masters’ programs.
The Associate Director of Admissions responsibilities in managing the admission funnel include collaborating to develop new strategies to increase our prospect pool, engaging effectively with prospects to ensure a sufficient applicant pool, reviewing candidates for admission and scholarships in conjunction with the Director of Admission, engaging with admitted students to promote conversion to deposit and developing strategic initiatives to remain in contact with deposits to confirm enrollment and reduce the number of withdrawn deposits.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Professional experience in higher education in recruitment, sales or business environment.
• Experience in managing and implementing projects and strategic initiatives.
• Experience managing prospective students/clients using a CRM.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal and professional skills.
• Experience or working knowledge to effectively promote programs to students, faculty, alumni and employers.
• Experience or working knowledge to anticipate, plan, and complete both cyclical and one-time projects in a timely manner.
• Experience or working knowledge to analyze situations and determine appropriate responses as required.
• Experience or working knowledge to work collaboratively with the faculty and staff within division and throughout the Mason School of Business

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree
• Proficiency in website design and the use of social media for recruitment purposes.

Advertised Pay Range Up to $60,000, commensurate with experience.

Conditions of Employment:

• Weekends and/or evenings and travel are required for recruitment purposes. Travel may be domestic or international.

• This position may require additional hours beyond the typical work week, to include occasional overnight and weekend work as needed to meet the business needs of the operation.
