Provides administrative Support to the Development team.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage processing of all donations

• Enter data into the donor management software (GiftWorks)

• Follow thank you note protocols to ensure timely acknowledgement of all gifts

• Assist with the preparation and organization of large development mailings

• Coordinate development office volunteers as needed

• Assist with donor research

• Assist with special events

• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Undergraduate degree strongly preferred. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and databases. Strong clerical, telephone and organizational skills for highly detailed work required. Ability to understand and follow directions; ability to adapt to changing work priorities; ability to multi-task, ability to interact effectively with others; ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment; demonstrated dependability, punctuality, efficiency and confidentiality. Previous data entry and administrative experience is required. Willing to learn new software and procedures.

Hourly part-time position, approximately 10 hours per week, $12 per hour.
